VOCALOID 02: Yearning for You

I don't know what to say. Except that I saw this photo. And died.

Attended my first/last NorCal Yaoi-Con (they're moving to SoCal next year)... not for the yaoi, but for THIS SHOOT. Back in February, I was asked to join a secret cast of cosplayers doing Sandplay. I knew most of the cast, GORGEOUS GROUP. So we slowly procrastinated, I was the last to finish my cosplay, and most of us met up at Yaoi-Con for photos. Unfortunately, our original Miku couldn't attend, and our Luka didn't get her outfit in time. But we did get another Miku, and Luka took photos~

In the end, it was a great experience for me. I got a chance to network with many talented people! Can't wait to take Sandplay out again.

About the cosplay:
Coats are made of black bridal satin and lined; the edge is satin ribbon while the gold is a braided, bead trim. Both my shorts/glove and Rachael's skirt/neck ribbon are red stretch velvet. I made my sock garters (too lazy to buy >.<), which clipped onto a pair of red socks. Rachael had an adorable pair of rocking shoes, so jealous! Working with her was such a treat, she had so many ideas about what materials to use *3*
